Antenna restrictions, RF panic, BPL/PLC, noisy plasma screens, QRM...
How can our hobby survive?

I recall my first license in 1965 had the word "EXPERIMENTAL" somewhere on the license.
I just replaced my 2 CRT screens with 2 flat panel screens to get rid of all the noise in my SDR radio. Now I am working on noise from the cable modem. |

Well, not mine, but a lot of hams I've chatted with on this topic get really fired up about the "its not real Ham Radio" thing.
Well it's real when you're talking through a linked repeater, any way you VoIP do it.
Anyone can play with VoIP "Amateur Telecom" without a license, or CB or SWL or scanners for that matter.
If you have a Ham license and choose to play with as many modes as you like, you can call yourself anything you like.
