| My XP machine reboots when I try to run the program. I've reinstalled twice but get nothing but an instant reboot every time I excute the program. What could cause this? |

| It's a very common Compaq with an AMD 3000 processor, 1gb ram, XP etc. Runs CQ100 perfectly as well as dozens of other programs. The first time I downloaded dadida, I chose 'start program on finish' or whatever it's called that fires up the pgm. when installation is complete. It immediately rebooted and I just figured it was a quirk in the software so after it rebooted I tried running the pgm and another instant reboot happened. I removed ladida and reinstalled twice to no avail. I do not have anything hooked to the serial port at this time. The PC is a Presario SR1030NX with 2 serial ports. The sound is embedded on the mobo and is a Realtec AC97 chip. XP has latest updates etc. Any suggestions? 73 |
