NEW VERSIONS

New versions for CQ100 and QsoTV were released today. These versions will work on Windows XP(3), Vista, 7, 8 and newer. The download buttons are found on your account page.

CQ100 version 2.2 (290) was released on March 10, 2014.
  • Fixed a problem where passwords longer than 15 characters did not work.
  • Fixed a problem where program would occasionaly freeze for a minute shortly after startup.
  • AF Gain and Mic Gain knobs now apply to the internal audio streams, not to Windows sliders.
  • Callsign can now be changed or corrected without needing to reinstall.
  • Changed the button caption "PTT / PTL" to "PTT Lock".
  • Changed to Inno Installer for better compatibility with Windows 7 and 8.
  • Changed to Comodo certicate because of problems with GoDaddy certificates.
  • All executables are now signed to reduce security warnings.
QsoTV version 1.2 (766) was released on March 10, 2014.
  • Upgraded QT to version to 4.7
  • Upgraded to Visual Studeo 2008 run times.
  • Fixed socket keep alive issue (only first picture was received).
  • Signed with Comodo certificate to reduce security warnings.
FREE SUNDAYS!

Beginning this Sunday December 22, the use of QsoNet will be free on every Sunday (GMT). If you have ever used QsoNet during the past 7 years, it is not necessary to register again. Simply install the program and begin using it with your registered password. No payment is required when you use the system on Sundays.

Along with free Sundays, new users receive a 30 day free trial period. The annual payment of $39.00 US will allow you to use the system every day for one year.

Paid users are able to use the QsoTV picture sharing system, alongside their CQ100 transceiver.

New Server is Now Active

We are happy to announce our new server was activated today at 1600Z after many weeks of preparation and testing. Our new server is located in Dallas, Texas.

There are no changes required at your end.

The upgrade allows increased capactity to handle a large number of simultaneous users, while offering increased level of security. This expenditure demonstrates our committment to keep QsoNet running for many years into the future.

Program has been Reported as Unsafe

A few people have reported seeing an error message "This program has been reported as unsafe".

Problem Downloading Programs

A few people have reported they cannot download our programs. They see an error message "The signature ... is corrupt or invalid".

Qsonet Discussion Forum Closed

The Qsonet discussion forum has been closed because it had become a target for hackers. We were able to export the entire forum as a searchable archive containing 4,150 messages. Unfortunately, new posts are no longer possible.
